Work has begun on a $60 million remodel of a retirement community in Oak Grove.
Over the next 18 months, residential units on the 22-acre Rose Villa campus will be transformed into a modern neighborhood-style community. Nearly 100 senior residents will remain onsite while the work is being done.
Each resident's home will have a front and a back door and will have a unique concept. Rose Villa's "Main Street" area will act as a town square, complete with retail space, cafes and restaurants, wine bar, performing arts center and an aquatic and wellness center and more. Many of these amenities will be open to the public.
The project was designed by Myhre Group Architects and is being built by R&H Construction.
