Myhre Group hires three and promotes one

Myhre Group Architects is pleased to welcome; Melissa von Borstel, Jessica Brenner, and Kat Trout to the team. MGA would also like to congratulates Chelsea Baertlein on her recent promotion!
Melissa von Borstel is a native Oregonian who graduated from the Montana State University with two degrees a Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of History and Religious Studies. She joins us with experience working on mixed use, multi-family, hospitality, historic preservation, and straw bale projects in the Pacific Northwest and East Africa. Melissa will initially be working in the capacity of Intern Architect on a variety of architectural project types including mixed-use and hospitality.
Jessica Brenner, originally from Washington is a graduate of from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. She joins us with over ten years' experience working on healthcare, commercial, hospitality and retirement projects in the southern California, Oregon and Washington areas. She enjoys hiking, biking, yoga and is an avid gardener. She will initially be working in the capacity of Job Captain.
Kat Trout grew up in Portland, Oregon and brings many years of support experience to her position. Kat will be working as the receptionist for MGA, responsible for front desk coordination and for providing administrative support to all levels of Myhre Group Architects.
Chelsea Baertlein is from Forest Grove, Oregon and is an honors graduate of the Art Institute of Portland. She holds a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Interior Design and a minor in sustainability. She was originally hired as MGA's receptionist in April 2015, and was promoted to Administrative Assistant in June of 2015. She will be responsible for providing support to both Administrative and Marketing teams in various capacities. Great job Chelsea!!
