Myhre Group Architects was responsible for the interior design and tenant improvement of Struck, a creative agency located in the redevelopment of Washington High School in Portland, Oregon. The scope of work included space planning, finishes selection and managing construction documents. Completed in 2015, this 5,650 square foot space is comprised of recovered materials from the original building, including reclaimed wood, radiator supports for desks and shelving units, metal screen dividers and a pulley wheel accent piece. The interior space boasts clean, contemporary lines and unique features, such as exposed brick and duct work, high ceilings and concrete finished floors. Bright pops of color mixed with the neutral pallet gives this space a fresh and timeless feel.
