Myhre Group Architects was responsible for the architectural design and master planning of this senior living community. Overlooking the Willamette River, MGA envisions the project to be a sustainable and pedestrian-oriented campus that is connected to the surrounding community. A variety of residential cottages create a series of pocket neighborhoods. 70% of the existing cottages were renovated and 41 ground up cottages were added, totaling 141,594 square feet. Each pocket neighborhood features its own garden amidst a network of streets and paths that connect to open spaces. Each unit contains multiple exposures to natural light and residents have the opportunity to choose their own interior finishes. This project was completed in 2016.
