Christ Church Parish Episcopal

The Myhre Group Architects team was responsible for the adaptive re-use of this church in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Beginning at the heart of the church, the narthex was expanded and updated while a new 12,000-square foot parish hall and office addition was added to the south face; amidst an existing grove of majestic fir trees, the team was able to preserve the surrounding site's natural character. Additionally, the restroom facilities were also enlarged and upgraded for accessibility, a new parking area and entry courtyard was created to service a busy administrative and pastoral staff, and a commercial-style kitchen was added, allowing for new and expanded ministries and fellowship activities within the parish. This project was designed by Raymond Yancey with a previous firm.
