The Myhre Group Architects team was responsible for the master plan design for the expansion of this 6,700 square foot church in Petersburg, Alaska. Petersburg is located on Mitkof Island and is known as Alaska's ‘Little Norway’. The expansion built off of the existing church’s structure, adding a new fellowship hall and classroom. The plan involved three phases, with the fellowship hall and classroom building being of the highest priority. This project was designed by Raymond Yancey while he was with a previous firm.
