Myhre Group Architects was responsible for the conceptual architectural design and master plan of the Willamette Christian Church in West Linn, Oregon. The three-phase facility sits atop Pete's Mountain, adjacent to the West Linn City Hall. The 24,000-square foot church was designed to frame dynamic unobstructed views of the Tualatin Valley, Mt. Hood, and portions of the remaining naturally-landscaped, 32-acre site. Phase one included administrative offices, Christian education centers, and supporting elements to the 550-person interim multi-use worship space. The second phase included expanding youth and adult classrooms, while phase three will be a dedicated worship space with a strong connection to the exterior with expansive glazing, views and daylight.
