Meadow Lake Village Grand Lodge

Myhre Group Architects was responsible for the architectural and interior design of this Grand Lodge which is the center of the congregate care community, Meadow Lake Village. Heavy timber framing, board and batten siding, and cultured stone fireplaces evoke a classic rustic lodge, while amenities such as a ballroom, spa and fitness center, and restaurant give it the feeling of a resort. A three-story open foyer with glass walls lets light stream into the lobby. The Grand Lodge contains a total of 26,000 square feet. The total construction cost of the project was $3.3 million. The Grand Lodge won a 2008 Award for "Best Large Clubhouse" at the National Association of Homebuilders' "Best of 50+ Housing" Awards and a Grand Award for "Best Senior Housing" at the 2008 Gold Nugget Awards.
